Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Council assistant Teacher Bharti releases various recruitment notifications every year to fill up vacant positions, this year 2024 going to fill 12460 shikshak vacancy to operate organization activities normally.
12,460 posts were appointed for the post of assistant teachers in council schools of Uttar Pradesh. Out of which, 6,470 teachers for the post of assistant teachers will be deployed in schools after 7 years i.e. now. Although the Supreme Court has given instructions to the Basic Education Council, the Basic Education Council has started the process of counseling the teachers.
counseling will be started by the Basic Education Council from 28th December and its counseling will continue till 30th December.
But the final selection list of the candidates will be released one day before the counseling i.e. on 27th December. And then on December 30, schools will be allotted to the teachers. And appointment letters will be given on the same day.

posts of assistant teachers were vacant in total 51 districts and not even a single post of assistant teacher was vacant in 24 districts. In such a situation, the Basic Education Council gave the freedom to the candidates to choose the school of the second preference district, but many of these candidates went to the court and the matter got stuck here.
7 years ago i.e. on 21 December 2016, advertisement was issued for 12460 posts. In which 6470 posts were stuck. Which has been decided by Justice AR Masood and Justice Om Prakash Shukla. In which order has been given to the Basic Education Council. That they should be deployed immediately. For this reason, its deployment will last from 27 December 2024 to 30 December 2023. And on 30th December, appointment letters will be given in the hands of the candidates.
