Selection Porcess

Career Assessment (25 Marks)- The career assessment phase evaluates the candidate’s academic and research achievements. Points are awarded based on the possession of a Ph.D., M.Phil., J.R.F., and/or NET qualifications.

Written Examination (150 Marks)- It is conducted over two hours and consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) based on the subject concerned, as per the syllabus provided on the official website. The examination paper has 100 questions.

Viva-Voce Test (25 Marks)- The Viva-voce test is the final stage of the selection process, allowing the selection board to assess the candidate’s communication skills, subject knowledge, and overall suitability for the role of a lecturer. This phase carries 25 marks.
